Résumé
America has entered the war, throwing its weight against the Axis powers. And the gods have joined ranks with them. The Snow Queen and the Dancer are sent on a recon mission in Bavaria, at the site of the last castle built by Louis II. The area is strangely devoid of military activity, and its their job to figure out why. Little do they know that the secret they uncover could change the face of the war—whether it's at the hands of the Nazis on the decline, or the Soviets on the horizon.

Born in 1947 in Tortona, Italy, Ivo Milazzo had an interest in the graphic arts from very early on. When he met scriptwriter Giancarlo Berardi in 1970, he decided to head towards comics. He illustrated his first story in 1971, "Il Cieco," published in the magazine "Horror." In 1974, Milazzo and Berardi joined to create the western series "Ken Parker." Sergio Bonelli, their publisher, then offered them their own magazine in 1977, which was published until May 1984. In 1982, in the magazine "Orient Express," Milazzo adapted "Foundation," a novel by Asimov, under the pen name Maurizio Mantero, which actually represents the team of Berardi, Milazzo, and Calegari. Starting in 1997, Milazzo went to work on the classic western series "Tex" for Bonelli. More recently, he illustrated the fourth volume of "Des Dieux et des Hommes" (Dargaud; "Of Gods and Men," Europe Comics), alongside Jean-Pierre Dionnet and Peter Snejbjerg.

Bien qu'il soit danois, Peter Snejbjerg est un véritable vétéran des comics américains. Il a officié, entre autres, sur « BPRD », avec Mike Mignola, ou « Preacher », avec Garth Ennis. Mais son style graphique unique, entre grand spectacle et expressions faciales à la limite du semi-réalisme, idéal pour distiller les émotions, n'allait pas se cantonner aux frontières de l'Amérique – fussent-elles vastes ! Son premier album international « Les maîtres du désordre » est édité chez Dark Horse Comics. Super héros du genre, il réalise aussi la série de science-fiction « Hypernauten », et est au dessin de « Sur la Terre comme au ciel », « A god somewhere », ou encore « Midnighter »... En 2012, il participe à la série « Des Dieux et des hommes » avec Jean-Pierre Dionnet, son premier album en français. En collaboration avec Jerry Frissen, il signe l'excellente série « World War X », et ne compte pas s'arrêter en si bon chemin.
