Résumé

The transitional situation that we are experiencing, which brings together a book culture with a culture of the screen, is gradually shifting us from a graphic reason to a computational one. In the same way that writing has made it possible to generate a particular mode of thought, where lists, tables and formulas have played a primordial role in the modeling of knowledge. With digital technology, other systems of knowledge are being invented, shaping of information and its transmission. Indeed, the development of the network, of a vast cyberspace, induces a particular rationality based on calculation rather than writing, which is the only way to make it intelligible. It is therefore understandable that memory architectures, in their contemporary, essentially digital, actualization are at the heart of a transformation of the human mind. It is still too early to determine exactly what is going on with this transformation, but it is important now to trace the contours of this situation and to explore trails that may mark out some of its most salient aspects.

    Jean-François Petit, diplômé de l'IEP de Bordeaux et docteur Habilité à diriger des recherches, est Maitre de Conférences à l'Institut Catholique en Philosophie. Il appartient à l'Unité de Recherche « Religion, culture et Société » - EA 7403. Il est directeur du Réseau Philosophique de l'Interculturel (REPHI) et du groupe de recherche PHILOPRAT.Vincent Puig, diplômé de l'ESC Toulouse et titulaire d'un Master 2 en philosophie, est directeur de l'Institut de Recherche et d'Innovation du centre Pompidou qu'il a fondé avec Bernard Stiegler. Il prépare actuellement une thèse à l'Institut Catholique de Paris et est membre du groupe de recherche PHILOPRAT.Vincent Laquais, certifié et docteur en philosophie, est enseignant et chargé de mission à l'Institut St Louis St Clément de Viry-Châtillon et chargé d'enseignement à l'Institut Catholique de Paris. Il est membre du groupe de recherche PHILOPRAT.

  • Pierre J. Truchot (auteur)

    Philippe Rassat, soignant en pédopsychiatrie, et Pierre J. Truchot, enseignant en philosophie, s’étaient d’abord rencontrés, au siècle dernier, autour de Nicolas de Staël, objet, entre autres, de leurs travaux universitaires de fin d’études. Trente ans après, ils se sont retrouvés pour écrire ensemble le chapitre manquant sur l’importance de Jeanne Polge, la maîtresse de Nicolas de Staël à partir de l’été 1953, dans la vie et l’œuvre du peintre.
