Résumé

     Alan DUKE is British and studied classical French theatre before joining Michelin to teach English. He spent time in production and more than thirty years in HR management in USA, UK and France where he was appointed Head of Personnel for Europe. He then joined the international career management team where he donned a second hat as the Group’s first Diversity Director. Retired since 2005 and a confirmed Anglo-Auvergnat, he cultivates his garden in Orcet, a charming village about 15 km from the capital of the pneumatic tyre.

    Alan DUKE, d’origine anglaise et diplômé en théâtre français, a été recruté par Michelin comme professeur d’anglais. Il a passé quelques années en production et plus de trente ans dans la gestion RH, tant aux Etats-Unis qu’au Royaume-Uni et en France, accédant au poste de chef du Personnel pour l’Europe. Il rejoint ensuite cette même équipe de gestionnaires internationaux et devient simultanément le premier responsable de la Diversité pour le Groupe. Maintenant jeune retraité (2005) et Anglo-Auvergnat confirmé, il cultive son jardin à Orcet, charmant village situé à 15 km de la capitale du pneu.
