Résumé

De Verenigde Staten hebben een nieuwe president, en deze kondigt een algehele amnestie af. Hierdoor komen alle bandieten op vrije voeten, zo ook de Daltons. In Awful Gulch openen ze een saloon en gedragen zich overdag als nette ondernemers. 's-Nachts echter graven ze een tunnel naar de plaatselijke bank (tunnels graven zijn ze goed in). Helaas voor hen zorgt Lucky Luke er voor dat de bank steeds weer verhuist. Als de Daltons dan maar de postkoets overvallen zijn ze weer voortvluchtig.

    Born and raised in Belgium, author Morris moved to the United States in 1946 and stayed six years. There, he worked for MAD magazine, gathered documentation on the Old West, and experienced firsthand Lucky Luke’s home. In 1992 the jury awarded him the Special 20th Anniversary Grand Prix at the International Angouleme Comic Festival.
