His play on the Broadway musical Hamilton, The Haunting of Lin-Manuel Miranda, garnered three 2019 AUDELCO awards. His most recent novel is The Terrible Fours (Baraka Books, 2021). He lives in Oakland.Carla Blank is a writer, director, dramaturge and editor. Author and editor of the 20th century historical reference Rediscovering America: The Making of Multicultural America, 1900-2000, she also co-authored Storming the Old Boys’ Citadel: Two Pioneer Women Architects of Nineteenth Century North America. She lives in Oakland.

    Ishmael Reed is the author of novels, books of poetry, and plays. He is also a playwright. He has won prizes in all categories. He taught at the University of California at Berkeley for thirty-five years. He has also has taught at Harvard, Yale and Dartmouth. Ishmael Reed is a member of Harvard's Signet Society and Yale's Calhoun Society. He lives in Oakland, California.

    Carla Blank is the author of Live On Stage! and Rediscovering America: The Making of Multicultural America, 1900–2000. Her articles have appeared in El Pais, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Wall Street Journal, Green Magazine, Hungry Mind Review, Counterpunch, and Konch. She lives in Oakland, California.
