Šesta knjiga serije Štoparski vodnik po Galaksiji, prvič v slovenskem jeziku.

Dogajanje se začne v klubu Beta, ko Arthurjevo druščino tik pred uničenjem Zemlje reši Zaphod Beeblebrox z ladjo Zlato srce, ki jo namesto računalnika Edija zdaj upravlja leva polovica možganov njegove druge glave. Ford Prefect po nerodnosti zamrzne omenjeno polovico in zdi se, da so pogubljeni. A pojavi se nesmrtni Ovečeni Velepotež in jih reši, nakar s svojimi žalitvami tako razjezi Zaphoda, da mu ta obljubi smrt in Velepotež, naveličan življenja, se z veseljem strinja. Le kdo bi ga bil zmožen ubiti – pomislijo na Thora. Pri vsem tem pa jim prav nič ne pomaga okoliščina, da Vogoni hočejo uničiti vse Zemljane.
