In this second gripping volume, Nanami grows more comfortable in her role as warrior princess in a parallel world that only appears when she and her fellow actors start rehearsing their play, but the pressure on her is building from all sides: she must fight ever greater threats in the Invisible Kingdom, her parents are on her case, her nemesis at school won't stop pestering her, her best friend feels left out, she's lost the magical book entrusted to her, her cat's gone missing, and a mysterious stranger asks her for a very dangerous and very forbidden favor...

Amélie Sarn a suivi des études d’anglais et d’espagnol tout en s'essayant à différents métiers : animatrice de camps de vacances, traductrice technique, auxiliaire de vie auprès de personnes handicapées et journaliste. Elle est aujourd'hui traductrice, scénariste de bande-dessinée (sa prochaine BD, Rose et Crow avec la jeune dessinatrice Lise Garçon paraîtra chez Delcourt en août 2021) et autrice d'une trentaine de romans pour la jeunesse dont Clairvoyance (J'ai Lu), Les Proies (Milan) ou Resurrectio (Seuil jeunesse). Elle vit aujourd'hui à Bordeaux où elle écrit de nombreux livres pour la jeunesse dont la série Les Aventures fantastiques de Sacré-Cœur (Le Lézard Noir) et la trilogie Carmin publiée aux éditions du Seuil.

Born in 1981 in the suburbs of Lyon, Nauriel (alias Magali Lacombe) has always been passionate about drawing. In 1998, after studying literature in high school, she was admitted to the Emile Cohl art school. Four years later, having earned a degree in comics illustration, she entered the fanzine milieu and chose the pen name Nauriel (a reference to the Tolkien universe). While she was taking part in several different projects, she met scriptwriter Éric Corbeyran at a festival in Chambéry. This meeting led her to illustrating the fantasy series "Nanami," co-written by Corbeyran and Amélie Sarn and published by Dargaud (Europe Comics in English).
