Il est l'auteur de "Histoire de ma fuite des Plombs de Venise", "Anecdotes vénitiennes d'amour et de guerre du XIVe siècle", "Histoire des troubles de Pologne", "Le Duel", "Ni dames ni amour", "Icosameron ou Histoire d'Édouard et d'Élisabeth" et surtout de ses Mémoires intitulées "Histoire de ma vie", publié à titre posthume en 1822.
