His wife is English and he has two children, 29 and 24 years old.His job as a manager of an Italian bank lead him to live, in Naples, Rome, Paris, Zurich, Los Angeles, New York, Hong Kong and finally England. He retired in 1997.His first novel “Il Mercante”, written in Italian, partially autobiographical, was published in Italy in October 2006.The novel is a thriller based on events he personally witnessed: the illegal sale of arms to poor Countries. “Il Mercante” has now been translated in English under the title of “The Merchant”.The Italian daily newspaper Corriere del Mezzogiorno (Corriere della Sera) published a very positive article on the book in January 2007 in its “Culture” section.
