À propos de l'auteur

Ever since I was six years old and wrote my first short story, I wanted to be a writer. In high school and junior college I wrote several articles for a local paper about being disabled. I’ve been severely disabled with Cerebral Palsy since birth. All four limbs are affected and the electric wheelchair is my constant companion. Sometimes my speech is difficult to understand. Despite all the challenges I face, I have accomplished much over the years. Born in Ventura, California I spent half of my childhood at my grandfather’s ranch. This is where I learned about being persistence. Combine hard work with persistence lead me to obtain many goals.I have a BA in Art from CSUN, got married, and have a beautiful daughter and two grandchildren. Being the second disabled individual who is sanction by the United States Bowling Congress to bowl on an able-body league is very exciting. I enjoy painting and I have sold some. Joining Toastmasters has really boosted my confidence. Now, at the ripe age of 63 I have written two children’s books, “Jasper Saves The Day” and “Jasper is a Hero”. My desire is to share my wisdom and determination with disabled children; and show them, they too can accomplish many things with hard work and the right attitude.
