Résumé
When a young girl is captured in the forest and brought to the city, only to escape shortly afterwards, all manner of individuals and organizations try to get their hands on her, no matter the cost. In a chilling and clever tour de force, the authors use the backdrop of the 1910 Great Flood of Paris to depict a world where animals rule and humans are viewed as curiosities, scientific guinea pigs, hunting trophies, and the occasional snack. A political satire that forces us to question our treatment of different species, the nature of intelligence, and more.

Hervé Bourhis est né en Touraine en 1974 et vit à Bordeaux.Hervé Bourhis signe en 2002 son premier livre Thomas ou le retour du Tabou, aux Humanoïdes associés, qui lui valut le prix Goscinny.Depuis, il fait les beaux jours des éditions Dargaud, avec la série "Stéréo-Club" et Le Petit livre du Rock et des éditions Dupuis avec les séries "Ingmar" (3 tomes parus) "Comix Remix" (3 tomes) et Un enterrement de vie de jeune fille. En 2009, il signe avec Piscine Molitor, une biographie de Boris Vian illustrée par Christian Cailleaux (collection Aire Libre).Il publie coup sur coup deux livres chez Futuropolis : La main verte et Appelle-moi Ferdinand, cosigné avec Durieux et Conty.

Drew grinning labradors on packaging for dog biscuits.1999 - Graphic artist for a web design company. Drew with pixels.2003 - Said "Yes, sounds good to me!" when Hervé Bourhis suggested creating a cartoon strip full of pop singers, Vietnamese people and dead saxophonists. Worked for Poisson Pilote and Youpi. Drew boxes and speech bubbles (at last!).
