After graduating from medical school, he completed his master's in English and Creative writing and began teaching at Dawson College. His areas of specialization include Children’s Literature, and in 2013 he won the Dawson College Director General’s Award for Teaching Excellence. How to Catch a Bear Who Loves to Read is his first children’s book.
