    Né en 1974, Matte Stephens est un artiste américain qui, en quelques années seulement, s’est hissé dans les hautes sphères de l’illustration mondiale. Amateur d’art et d’objets curieux, collectionneur de meubles des années 50 et 60, il a illustré des livres pour enfants et gagné la faveur de nombreux amateurs de belles images. Ses tirages limités, offerts sur le site Etsy, sont très courus. Il vit dans une grande maison de style rétro avec sa femme Vivienne, Oliver, le chien et plusieurs chats.
