Né dans les Caraïbes en 1989, Kacen Callender vit aujourd'hui à Philadelphie. Iel a fait des études de création littéraire avant de travailler dans la maison d'édition Little, Brown and Company. Son premier roman Hurrican Child a été récompensé notamment par le prestigieux prix Stonewall en 2019. Son roman Felix Ever After, best-seller aux États-Unis, est paru chez Slalom en 2021.
