Conor, Abéké, Meilin, et Rollan, autrefois héros de l'Erdas, sont devenus des fugitifs. Recherchés pour un crime qu'ils n'ont pas commis, ils sont pourchassés par des mercenaires impitoyables, les Oathbound.

Ils ont traversé les déserts de Nilo à la recherche de réponses et d'une relique ancienne très puissante reliée à l'histoire de leur monde. En arrivant à l'ancien monastère de Takoda, ils sont aussitôt invités à se rendre à la bibliothèque secrète, gardienne de la sagesse de l'Erdas. Ils y découvrent des indices à propos de la relique et un mystérieux globe nommé Oil du Dragon. Mais voilà que les redoutables flèches des archers des Oathbound se rapprochent.

Conor, Abéké, Meilin, and Rollan-once Heroes of Erdas-are now wanted fugitives. Framed for a crime they didn't commit, they've been hunted across the globe by the ruthless mercenaries, the Oathbound.

The four friends have traveled to the deserts of Nilo seeking answers and an ancient and powerful relic that's connected to the history of their world. There they discover a vast, secret library dedicated to preserving the wisdom of Erdas.

But this library houses more than just tomes and scrolls. Guarding this knowledge are their old friends Takoda and Xanthe, along with Kovo the Ape. With the Oathbound following close behind, can the heroes risk branding their friends as traitors?
