K.A. Applegate is the married writing team Katherine Applegate and Michael Grant. Their Animorphs series has sold millions of copies worldwide and alerted the world to the presence of the Yeerks. Katherine is also the author of the Endling series and the Newbery Medal–winning The One and Only Ivan. Michael is also the author of the Front Lines and Gone series.

Michael Grant a toujours eu la bougeotte. Élevé dans une famille de militaires aux états-Unis, il a fréquenté 10 écoles dans 5 états, et trois écoles en France. Il a vécu dans près de 50 maisons différentes, dans 14 États des États-Unis, et a emménagé avec sa femme, l'écrivain Katherine Applegate, 24 heures après l'avoir rencontrée. Parmi la longue liste de ses occupations, avant de devenir écrivain : réalisateur de dessins animés, serveur, bibliothécaire, journaliste gastronomique, producteur de films documentaires et consultant médiatique politique. Il est finalement devenu écrivain en partie parce que c'était l'un des rares métiers qui permettait de ne pas se fixer ! Son rêve est de passer une année entière à circuler à travers le globe et à visiter tous les continents. Même l'Antarctique. Il vit dans la baie de San Francisco, non loin de Silicon Valley, avec sa femme et leurs deux enfants, ainsi que leurs trop nombreux animaux domestiques. CHRIS GRINE is the creator of the Eisner Award-nominated Chickenhare and Time Shifters. He’s been making up stories since he was a kid, and not just to get out of trouble with his parents. Nowadays, Chris spends most of his time writing and illustrating books, drinking lots of coffee, and sleeping as little as possible. He spends his free time with his wife, playing with his kids, watching movies, and collecting action figures (but only the bad guys).
