Catherine Deneuve, la plus célèbre des actrices françaises, suit son aînée Françoise Dorléac dans cette carrière. Après un premier grand rôle dans « Les Parapluies de Cherbourg » (1964) de Jacques Demy, le duo de sœurs crève l’écran dans la comédie musicale « Les Demoiselles de Rochefort » (1967). Nommée 14 fois au César de la meilleure actrice, Catherine Deneuve l’obtient pour deux rôles, en 1981 dans « Le Dernier Métro » de François Truffaut et en 1993 dans « Indochine » de Régis Wargnier. En 1985, elle est plébiscitée pour prêter ses traits au buste de Marianne. Fidèle à La Bibliothèque des voix dès sa création par Antoinette Fouque, l’actrice a enregistré huit livres audio pour la collection.
