After a Master's Degree in Fine Arts, Gabriel Hernández dedicates himself to children's illustration and painting. It is receiving the Spanish INJUVE award in 2002 that makes him move to comics, starting with some works for IDW like "Clive Barker's Thief of Always" and "The Veil" and later, "The Suicide Forest". He also illustrates "The Werewolf of Fever Swamp" for Scholastic, and several fill-ins for Marvel Comics (New Mutants, X-Men), plus some short stories for DC Comics.
